Sony Playstation Vita Specs & Price
Sony introduced the Playstation Vita GPU on December 11, 2011, as a graphics solution for performance-segment gaming consoles. DirectX 10.1 is supported by the device, which is based on the SGX543 MP4+ graphics processor in its CXD5315GG form and built on the 32 nm technology. With a die area of just 6 mm², the graphics processor, SGX543 MP4+, is a comparatively small semiconductor. It has eight texture mapping units, four ROPs, two vertex shaders, and four pixel shaders. A 64-bit memory interface connects the 128 MB of CDRAM memory that Sony has included. While the RAM operates at 400 MHz, the GPU operates at 200 MHz.
It has a maximum power draw of 4 W. With an igp cooling solution, the console measures 182 mm by 19 mm by 84 mm. When the Sony Playstation Vita was first released, it cost $249 USD.
