AMD released the Radeon RX 580, a performance-segment graphics card, on April 18, 2017. based on the Polaris 20 graphics processor and constructed using the 14 nm technology, The Radeon RX 580 and AMD’s 8 GB GDDR5 RAM are linked by a 256-bit memory interface. Memory is functioning at 2000 MHz (8 Gbps effective), while the GPU is operating at 1257 MHz, with the possibility of increasing to 1340 MHz.
The card supports DirectX 12 in its Polaris 20 XTX model. This guarantees that the Radeon RX 580 can run any contemporary game. With 5,700 million transistors and a die area of 232 mm2, the Polaris 20 graphics processor is a chip of typical size. It has 32 ROPs, 144 texture mapping units, and 2304 shading units. An interface of PCI-Express 3.0 x16 connects the Radeon RX 580 to the rest of the system. In addition to having two slots for cooling, the card is 241 mm long. When it first came out, it cost $229 USD.
